Defining Creative Wellbeing
To lay the foundations of InnLyte’s philosophy, mission, and vision, I found it necessary to pause, reflect, research, and structure a working definition of Creative Wellbeing.
Creative Wellbeing involves a conscious focus on using arts, creative expression and cultural experiences to reduce stress, improve mental resilience, and find clarity. It is an ongoing practice that prioritises the act of making over the perfection of the result, allowing us to explore our inner landscape without judgement.
— Dee Stoppa, InnLyte's Founder
Along with the working definition of Creative Wellbeing, I’m introducing a three-step framework for creative wellbeing, self-exploration, and transformation. It was initially developed as part of my first signature workshop, Symbollage™, tested with participants, and refined over the last few years. It is a foundational piece of the InnLyte philosophy and upcoming online experiences (InnLyte Academy). An in-depth article will be shared in 2026.
