Dee Stoppa: Finding Light in the Making

InnLyte Studio Series with Dee Stoppa

Welcome to the final Seed Episode of InnLyte, where we turn the microphone on our founder, Dee Stoppa, to explore the personal journey that led to the creation of this series. A visual artist, educator, and storyteller, Dee’s passion for creativity as a tool for resilience is rooted deeply in lived experience. Having grown up immersed in art and crafts as part of her family tradition in Poland, she faced an early mental health challenge where art practice proved invaluable. This episode shares that pivotal moment and the ongoing commitment to creative wellbeing that followed. This early realisation solidified the belief that creation is a powerful pathway to wellbeing, driving her to later study coaching, arts and health, and workplace wellness to bring this message to others.

Connect with Dee:

I have to say that luckily, I had art and crafts at the time, and working with my hands helped me massively to recover and get better, apart from changing the environment, moving out of my family home at the age of 18, and starting to meditate and explore those topics around wellbeing further.

This video is one of the original Seed Episodes that launched the InnLyte Studio Series. Shot as a 1–3 minute vertical short, these raw beginnings helped us realise the demand for deeper content. If you enjoyed this glimpse of Creative Wellbeing, be sure to check out Season 1 on our YouTube Channel for the full 10–15 minute mini-documentary films.
